March 18, 2025 // NEW YORK – Goldfish Swim School Franchising, LLC have signed a lease agreement to open Goldfish Swim School in New York.
The franchisee group currently owns and operates 25 Goldfish Swim Schools throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Maryland, Oklahoma, New York and Florida. This location is scheduled to be open by December 2025.
The Broadway location will feature a state-of-the-art, shiver-free 90-degree pool, a viewing area for parents, and a tropical-themed facility designed to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for both kids and parents alike. With Goldfish Swim School’s unique curriculum and small class sizes, children will be able to develop essential swim skills, build confidence, and have fun in the water.
“It’s time to start spreading the news because Goldfish Swim School is coming to the UWS – Broadway,” said Goldfish Swim School franchisee and BHB Group Executive Vice President Katie Lee. “Hope, Brian and I have been part of the Goldfish family for 15 years and we understand the importance of providing a safe and encouraging environment where children can learn vital water safety skills while developing a lifelong love of swimming.”
Goldfish Swim School provides swim lessons and water safety instruction to infants and children aged four months to 12 years, teaching children how to be safer in and around the water. Each school offers swim lessons and programs using a proprietary philosophy, The Science of SwimPlay®, to build life skills both in and out of the water using play-based learning in a fun and safe environment. Each school’s number one focus and main priority is always the same – educating children on water safety while teaching them how to swim and respect the water.
“Katie, Hope and Brian have been with us since we entered the franchise industry with our first-ever franchise location in Farmington Hills, Michigan, back in October 2009 and it’s wonderful to see them enter the Broadway community to share their passion and commitment to kids and water safety,” said Chris McCuiston, CEO and co-founder of Goldfish Swim School Franchising.
