Kerry Wood’s career in real estate spanned two decades. She ran a successful marketing company before being appointed Director of Marketing at a growing construction and development company, where she wore many hats, including performing site selection, new construction planning & budgeting, and business development. She started in the brokerage world at a small boutique firm in Westport, CT, before moving to Cushman & Wakefield, Trinity Real Estate Group in upstate New York, and New England Retail Properties Inc.
Kerry is actively involved in industry groups, including ICSC and CREW. She successfully represents national and regional tenants across multiple states. She has tackled some of the toughest leasing challenges to help her clients reposition shopping centers and build from the ground up.
Kerry serves in the Connecticut General Assembly and is Chair of the Insurance & Real Estate Committee. Industry groups, including the Connecticut Restaurant Association and the Retail Merchants Network, have recognized Kerry as Legislator of the Year for her work in promoting a vibrant state economy.
