William Cafero is a retail real estate advisor at Charter Realty specializing in site selection, market entry, and multi-unit expansion for grocery, restaurant, retail, fitness, and entertainment brands.

With a deep understanding of brand growth strategies and consumer-driven real estate decisions, William partners closely with operators to identify locations that align with both operational needs and long-term expansion goals. He currently oversees a leasing portfolio of more than 4 million square feet and maintains strong relationships with institutional and private landlords throughout the region.

William has played a key role in helping both emerging and established nationally recognized brands such as Lidl, Shake Shack, Dave’s Hot Chicken, Just Salad, Barry’s Bootcamp, Sky Zone, Colony Grill, PopUp Bagels, and more.

Known for a strategic, hands-on approach, William serves as an extension of his clients’ real estate teams—bringing market intelligence, landlord access, and deal execution expertise to every assignment.

Born and raised in Southern Connecticut, William graduated from the University of Miami School of Business. He currently resides in Manhattan and is a multi-year recipient of the CoStar Power Broker Award.
