CRDC leases to Aqua Tots in Chesterfield Marketplace, VA

Charter Realty Leases to Aqua Tots in Chesterfield Marketplace, VA

Charter Realty and Development is pleased to announce that it has leased space in the Chesterfield Marketplace to the Aqua Tots Company. The Chesterfield Marketplace is Charter’s sole venture in Virginia. It is prominently situated along the Midlothian Turnpike in Chesterfield, VA. The Marketplace stands at 199,391 square feet.

Aqua Tots is a swim school with only one other Virginia location, in Richmond. The company says it specializes in teaching younger children swimming to give a feeling of confidence and safety in the water.  The Aqua Tots Company is not the only new addition to this Virginia development. In fact, shortly before Aqua Tots chose to lease in Chesterfield, an Asian restaurant called ‘Teppanyaki Grill and Buffet’ also joined the Chesterfield Marketplace family.

The Chesterfield Marketplace is anchored by larger tenants like Toys R Us, Home Depot, Petsmart, and Staples. In addition there are a number of smaller restaurants and clothing stores spread throughout the rest of the center. Chesterfield Marketplace still has some of its larger spaces available, while most of its smaller spaces have been filled. This site stands out because of its prominent location as well as the amenities within the area. Chesterfield is home to an upper middle class population of people. Chesterfield itself is a smaller suburban town that is the seat of Chesterfield County in Eastern Virginia. Although the town itself is small, Chesterfield is near a variety of larger Virginia towns including Richmond, the state capital.

Charter Realty and Development currently owns and leases over 10 million square feet of space throughout the Northeast from Maine to Virginia to Pennsylvania. For more information on Charter, and its available spaces, please visit chartweb.com.
