Charter Realty & Development Corp. is pleased to announce that it has already leased over 19,000 square feet in Phase I of the Storrs Center project and is working on leasing out space in Phase II. Many of these new tenants, including Subway, Moe’s Southwestern Grill, Insomnia Cookies, Skora’s Barber Shop, Body Language Tattoo, Select Physical Therapy, DD’s Gyros, and Husky Pizza have committed to a 10 year term. Space has also been leased to Froyoworld, Dog Lane Café, Travel Planner, and Storrs Automotive. There are several more deals in the works that when complete will fill Phase I.
The first phase of the Storrs Center project totals 70,686 square feet is scheduled to be complete this spring. Work has already begun on phase II and should be complete by summer of 2013.
