CRDC Has Signed a new TJ Maxx in Barre, VT
Charter Realty & Development Corp. is pleased to announce it has signed a new TJ Maxx in a shopping center owned by Redstone that is anchored by Price Chopper in Barre, VT. This is the 23rd TJX deal Charter has completed. This deal was co-broked with Pomerleau Company.
TJ Maxx is part of TJX Companies. The TJX Companies is a leading off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions in the United States and worldwide. It is ranked 131 in the most recent Fortune 500 rankings. With $19 billion in revenues in 2008, more than 2,600 stores their mission is to deliver a rapidly changing assortment of quality, brand name merchandise at prices that are 20-60% less than department and specialty store regular prices, every day. TJX’s off-price concepts include TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Home Goods and AJ Wright in the United States.
TJ Maxx operates over 874 stores in the United States and has further growth opportunities for new store locations. The average store size of a TJ Maxx store is approximately 30,000 square feet.
