Charter Realty & Development Corp. is pleased to announce it has been retained to manage and exclusively lease The Loop shopping center in Methuen, MA. The Loop is a 340,000 sf center, spanning 46 acres in a highly trafficked retail corridor, and includes AMC Theatres, Stop & Shop, Marshall’s, and Old Navy, with Target, Wal-Mart, Market Basket, and Home Depot adjacent to it. The Loop, which opened in 2000 on the spot of the former Methuen Mall, is owned by Invesco Advisors, Inc.
The Loop is located along the MA Route 213 highway connector that provides access between Routes 495 and 93. A staple in the Methuen community and serving as its Town Center, The Loop hosts a number of city-wide events including 4th of July fireworks and a holiday tree lighting.
The Loop boasts over 30 shops, eateries and services, including an AMC 20-screen theater, Stop & Shop, Marshalls, and Old Navy. Additional tenants include Orange Theory Fitness, Starbucks, Chipotle, TGI Friday’s, Olive Garden, Ann Taylor Loft, Aspen Dental and Pearle Vision.
Charter will begin its remerchandising of the property through attracting a variety of mixed-use experience and service uses to enhance the current strong retail tenants. An outdoor common area upgrading with enhanced landscaping and pedestrian flow will also be implemented.
