Pause was founded as a float studio in 2016 in Venice Beach, California, by two former Equinox Executives, Jeff Ono and John Klein. In 2023, Pause expanded into franchising and entered a period of rapid growth. With over 100 territories awarded and 25 locations set to open in 2025, Pause is emerging as a dominant player in the national wellness space.
