Michael Ro joined Charter Realty in 2025, where he focuses on tenant advisory and landlord representation both in the New England and New York Tri-State Area.

Michael started in the business working in-house for retail developers such as Brixmor Property Group and WS Development. Prior to joining Charter, he was an Associate Leasing Representative at WS Development, where he focused on small shop leasing of open-air shopping centers throughout the New England region. In his time there, he oversaw the real estate process for both national and local tenants, contributing to the retail mix of the shopping centers. As a result, he brings valuable real estate experience and knowledge on market analysis, site selection, deal negotiations, and relationships within the real estate industry.

Michael is a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Real Estate Analysis & Development. Outside of work, Michael is a part of AKP Sports Foundation, a non-profit serving Asian American Pacific Islander communities under the banner of sports, where he organizes tournaments across the country to empower the youth. He is also a member of the Korean American National Sports organization, where he leads as vice-captain of the New Jersey Men’s Basketball Team.
